We're now looking for a Warehouse Operative from local DHL sites on a temporary secondment basis over the coming months. This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a bonded warehousing and distribution operation, working with high-value products in a highly secure and regulated environment, while developing valuable skills and knowledge that can support your future career progression

✅WHAT YOU WILL GAIN

• Experience operating a range of MHE equipment, including VNA, Reach and Counterbalance trucks.
• Exposure to DHL's eCommerce Fulfilment Network (DFN) and customer-focused fulfilment operations.
• Leadership and people management development opportunities for FLMs and aspiring leaders.
• Practical Health & Safety experience, including ETQ, risk assessments, manual handling and compliance management.
• Knowledge of Bonded Warehousing, Registered Stores and HMRC regulatory requirements within a highly controlled environment.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced environment
• Getting hands-on with manual tasks, from handling to loading and unloading
• General housekeeping of the warehouse

Please note that, due to the nature of the operation and the handling of high-value products, successful applicants will be required to complete security vetting, including a basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, prior to commencing the secondment.
