We're looking for a highly organised Operations Support Specialist to support the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring bookings, reporting, and transport plans are managed accurately and delivered on time.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Creating and maintaining booking schedules and transport spreadsheets.
• Sending booking information to delivery sites and customers.
• Producing Excel reports and analysing transport data.
• Cross-checking Transport Management System (TMS) information against transport plans to ensure accuracy.
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies between systems and planned movements.
• Supporting the management and booking of subcontractors.
• Liaising with internal teams and external partners to ensure deliveries run smoothly.
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting the wider transport planning function.

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO 

• Have experience in logistics, planning, or administration (Transport experience is beneficial).
• Are confident using Excel and enjoy working with data and reports.
• Have excellent attention to detail and can spot discrepancies quickly.
• Enjoy working in a role that combines administration and transport planning activities.
• Are comfortable communicating with customers, sites, and subcontractors.
• Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
